Bangkok Shuck Off 2026

Chatrium Grand Bangkok has concluded the second edition of Bangkok Shuck Off 2026, the opening event in The Oyster World Cup Gastronomy 2026, following an eight-week celebration of oysters, fine dining, and culinary craftsmanship.

 

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, this year’s festival brought together Michelin-starred chefs, award-winning oyster shucking champions, renowned mixologists, and culinary professionals from more than eight countries. Throughout June and July, guests enjoyed eight international tasting experiences showcasing premium oysters and gastronomy from around the world.

 

 

The festival culminated in the Bangkok Shuck Off 2026 competition, where Teeraphat Jaiporn was crowned champion. He will now represent Thailand at the upcoming international oyster shucking competition in China.

 

Guests attending the finale also enjoyed live oyster shucking competitions alongside tastings of premium oysters from leading producers, complemented by a specially curated buffet at Savio Restaurant featuring an array of international dishes.

 

 

The culinary celebrations continue in July with the second Thailand Grand Écailler Challenge, organised in collaboration with leading French culinary institutions. The programme also includes a series of masterclasses led by international experts, reinforcing Bangkok’s growing reputation as a destination for world-class gastronomy and culinary competition.

 

Throughout the month, visitors can also enjoy the hotel’s Gastronomy Stay Experience, which combines luxury accommodation with curated dining experiences, premium tastings, poolside events, and exclusive weekend culinary activities.
