Embassy Room La Marina at Park Hyatt Bangkok has unveiled a refreshed culinary direction with the introduction of a new à la carte menu by Genoa-born Chef Alessio Banchero, alongside an enhanced edition of its popular IL PRANZO set lunch. Inspired by the rich culinary traditions of coastal Italy, the latest offerings further strengthen the restaurant’s position as one of Bangkok’s leading Italian dining destinations.
The announcement follows Embassy Room La Marina’s recent recognition by Gambero Rosso, one of Italy’s most respected culinary authorities, which awarded the restaurant Two Forks in its internationally renowned dining guide. The accolade reflects the restaurant’s commitment to authenticity, refined technique and exceptional ingredients, with Gambero Rosso’s ‘Fork’ rating system widely regarded as one of the most influential benchmarks in Italian gastronomy worldwide.

At the heart of the new menu is Chef Alessio Banchero’s interpretation of coastal Italian cuisine, shaped by premium ingredients sourced from around the world and executed with elegant simplicity and bold Mediterranean flavours. Among the standout dishes is Polpo Laccato alla ‘Nduja, featuring char-grilled octopus glazed with spicy ’nduja and served with smoked potato espuma and stracciatella. Ravioli di Astice pairs Maine lobster-filled ravioli with cuttlefish ink sauce and basil emulsion, while Risotto allo Scoglio showcases Vialone Nano rice layered with clams, mussels, scallops, crab meat, calamari, and prawns in a refined seafood interpretation of a classic Italian risotto.
Other highlights include Risotto Tartufo e Pancetta, combining fresh truffle with rolled pancetta, and Sogliola al Limone, a delicate pan-seared sole finished with thyme, white wine, and lemon sauce. To complement the menu, guests can explore a carefully curated wine selection alongside traditional Italian side dishes such as Funghi Trifolati, sautéed mushrooms with garlic, and Patate Arrosto, rosemary roasted potatoes, reinforcing the restaurant’s warm and convivial dining style.

Alongside the new à la carte offering, Embassy Room La Marina has also refreshed its weekday IL PRANZO set lunch experience. Priced at Bt980++, the menu has been redesigned to offer greater variety and seasonal inspiration while maintaining its approachable and refined character. Each lunch set includes a choice of three appetisers and three main courses, followed by a light sorbet to finish, with guests also able to upgrade to the restaurant’s signature tiramisu for an additional Bt150++.
Appetiser selections highlight the restaurant’s coastal Italian influences and ingredient-led approach. Carpaccio di Polipo e Patate combines octopus and potato carpaccio with garlic, olive oil, parsley, and lemon emulsion, while Figliata al Tartufo con Peperoni features mozzarella figliata paired with black truffle, roasted peppers, and pepper sauce. Gamberi Indiavolati offers sautéed prawns with bell peppers, capers, chilli, and pine nuts, while Bruschetta Guanciale e Rosmarino layers roasted garlic, rosemary, and cured pork cheek over toasted sourdough.

The mains continue the balance of comfort and refinement. Agnolotti di Spinaci e Ricotta presents delicate spinach and ricotta-filled pasta finished simply with butter and sage, while Salsiccia Luganega Grigliata pairs grilled Luganega sausage with potatoes, onions, and mushrooms. Paccheri ai Tre Pomodori celebrates three varieties of tomato through a rich pasta dish featuring cherry tomatoes, beef tomatoes, and San Marzano sauce, while Risotto Zucca e Mandorle combines pumpkin, saffron, and almonds with Vialone Nano rice for a comforting seasonal finish.
With its refined coastal Italian identity, thoughtfully curated menus, and recent international recognition, Embassy Room La Marina continues to elevate Bangkok’s Italian dining scene through a blend of authenticity, craftsmanship, and contemporary hospitality.
