Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa, the five-star resort nestled directly on Thailand’s gulf coast, has unveiled a series of inspiring seaside dining experiences that will let guests savour the country’s highly-prized jumbo river prawns, or celebrate Pride Month with an uplifting evening of authentic Italian and Thai cuisine.

Sourced from the fresh waters of the Chao Phraya River in Ayutthaya, Thai jumbo river prawns are famed for their size and succulence. The culinary experts at Big Fish & Bar, the resort’s award-winning beachside restaurant, have revealed four special dishes that highlight the sublime taste and tenderness of this premium ingredient.

Under the “Thai Jumbo River Prawns” promotion, guests can enjoy Surf & Turf, which complements the sweetness of grilled river prawns with the umami richness of Josper-grilled Australian beef tenderloin, complemented with Café de Paris butter, crispy fries and garlic mayonnaise. Alternatively, fans of Cantonese cuisine can discover Crispy-Fried Hong Kong Style Jumbo River Prawns, which are pan-fried to perfection with garlic, oats, red chilli and black pepper for the ultimate blend of texture and tang, then served with crab fried rice.

Discerning diners can discover the ultimate Pad Thai, Thailand’s iconic stir-fried noodle dish, which is elevated with tamarind, peanuts, egg, tofu, red chilli flakes, beansprouts, and scallions, then topped with mouthwatering jumbo river prawns. Finally, Yum Hua Plee is a fresh and flavourful banana blossom salad with chilli jam, coconut milk, red chilli, and green herbs – and of course, grilled Thai jumbo river prawns.

June is Pride Month and Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa will celebrate in style with an evening of fine food and self-expression at Amber Kitchen. The “Pride Night Italian-Thai Buffet Dinner” will showcase a lavish selection of delicacies including blue crabs, Pacific oysters, Norwegian salmon, and, Wagyu beef steaks, plus live stations where chefs will cook pizza, pasta and khao soi to-order. Throughout the dinner, guests will be fully entertained with vibrant entertainment, including a mini cabaret.

The Thai Jumbo River Prawn promotion runs from 1st – 30th June (5pm – 11pm), exclusively at Big Fish & Bar, with prices starting from Bt1,250++ per dish. The Pride Night Buffet will be staged at Amber Kitchen on 26th June (6pm – 10pm), priced at Bt1,299++ per person.
