Harilela Hotels has chosen Singapore as the next destination for its acclaimed luxury brand, The Hari Singapore, marking the third chapter in the collection following the success of its celebrated hotels in London and Hong Kong. A New Chapter Begins
Scheduled to open in spring 2027, The Hari Singapore will transform the former Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre into a sophisticated 326-room luxury retreat. Guests can expect a rooftop swimming pool, an executive lounge, exceptional dining and wellness experiences, and the brand’s signature rotating art programme, which brings a constantly evolving cultural dimension to every stay.

British interior designer Tara Bernerd, whose distinctive vision has defined both The Hari London and The Hari Hong Kong, will once again lead the design. Her approach blends contemporary elegance with a deep sense of place, creating layered, inviting interiors that capture Singapore’s vibrant energy and rich cultural character while remaining unmistakably The Hari.
“This hotel, like our sister properties in Belgravia and Wan Chai, will embody relaxed elegance punctuated by eccentricity, wit, culture, and genuine heartfelt hospitality,” said the brand’s founder, Dr. Aron Harilela. “Singapore is central to our ambition to grow The Hari in the world’s leading international destinations.”

The Hari Singapore will become the third property in The Hari portfolio, following the opening of The Hari London in August 2016 and The Hari Hong Kong in December 2020. Established in 1959, the Harilela Group remains wholly owned by the Harilela family and has built an international hospitality portfolio spanning Hong Kong, mainland China, wider Asia, Europe, and the United States. Through Harilela Hotels, the Group now owns and operates 15 properties, with The Hari Singapore representing the next milestone in the brand’s international expansion.
