Dim Sum Galore
With more than 60 a la carte Dim Sum choices to select from plus a special menu that offers delicious, freshly made hand pulled noodles, Dynasty Chinese restaurant at Centara Grand at CentralWorld presents the world famous cuisine of China as never before seen. A crisp white linen tabletop is an unspoiled canvas that supports elegant chopsticks, plates and soup bowls as well as Chinese dipping sauces, but most tables never finish quite so spick and span as is the nature of Dim Sum.
Open for lunch and dinner, diners at Dynasty have a choice of two set menus – Bt850++ and Bt1,250 ++, respectively – that include a choice of appetizers, soups, rice and noodle dishes as well as dessert. Classic Chinese favourites such as Drunken Chicken, Jellyfish and Roasted Duck are the backbone to the appetizer menu while Bird’s Nest and Crab Meat, Black Mushrooms with Fish Maw, Hot and Sour Seafood soups are all excellent starters. For those who prefer rice and noodles, Dynasty has a great selection that cover a variety of dishes with salted egg and salted fish as well as chicken, duck and pork.
The ‘All You Can Eat’ Dim Sum offering includes a wide variety of steamed dishes such as Salmon rolls with Enoki Mushroom, Tiger Prawn roll with spicy sauce, Snow Fish rolls with Anchovy Caviar, Blue Crab claw, Seafood and Meat combinations, Australian scallop, the Special Dynasty Steamed Chicken Feet, noodle rolls with Alaska king crab, Chinese cabbage rolls with jelly fish and Bird’s Nest spring rolls with shrimp. There are also deep-fried Dim Sum options such as Soft Shell Crab Balls, Bird’s Nest spring roll with shrimp, Crab Meat with sesame seed and Chinese croissant with shrimp filling.
For a real taste of China, the La Mian hand pulled noodles are highly recommended and include five-star fillings like Maine lobster with Shanghai sauce, steamed river prawn and Sichuan sauce and thinly sliced Wagyu beef Hong Kong style. Those dishes that come with a little extra kick in the spice department include chicken in tangy sweet and sour sauce, baby back pork ribs, spicy Sichuan sauce and “Ma La” spicy numbing Sichuan pepper sauce.
