Eco-Wellness Lodge Experience

Eco-Wellness Lodge Experience

Auko Eco-Wellness Lodges is set to open in Q3 2026 within the spectacular UNESCO-listed landscape of Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park. Positioned along the Son River and surrounded by dramatic limestone peaks and ancient cave systems, including the legendary Son Doong caves, Auko will introduce Vietnam’s first EDGE Advanced-certified eco-wellness lodge experience, setting a new benchmark for regenerative luxury hospitality in Southeast Asia.

Designed for the modern “Wayfinder”, the all-inclusive retreat will feature 30 elevated tented eco-lodges, each thoughtfully created in harmony with the natural environment. The architecture incorporates reclaimed timber, resilient construction methods, indigenous planting, and flood-adaptive design aligned with the IFC’s Building Resilience Index, ensuring both sustainability and long-term environmental sensitivity.

Each of the lodges are ideally crafted to offer comfort.

Beyond its design credentials, Auko presents a deeply immersive wellness philosophy shaped by the rhythms of nature and the ancient traditions of Central Vietnam. In partnership with Lumina Well-Being, guests will be invited to experience nature-led healing journeys that include Rhassoul clay rituals, hydrotherapy, forest rainfall showers, sound healing, primal movement, meditation caves, and seasonal ceremonies inspired by local Cham culture.

The guest experience unfolds through three distinct pathways, each designed to reflect different approaches to well-being. The Open Way focuses on gentle restoration, movement, and reconnection, while the Still Way encourages introspection and personal transformation. For those seeking a more dynamic experience, the Wild Way offers active adventure combined with energising wellness activities.

Guests can take part in a variety of wellness activities.

Dining at Auko will be centred around the forest-to-table philosophy at Origin Restaurant, where locally sourced ingredients, wild-foraged herbs, and regional Vietnamese flavours come together to create a menu rooted in place. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the surrounding environment through curated jungle, river, and cave experiences unique to Phong Nha.

Access to Auko is straightforward, with several convenient travel options available. Guests can fly from Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi to Dong Hoi Airport, followed by a one-hour private transfer, or travel via Hue Airport with a three-hour transfer. Rail connections from Da Nang or Hanoi to Dong Hoi Railway Station are also available, as well as a five-hour private drive from Da Nang. For more adventurous travellers, motorbike journeys from Hanoi with a midway stop in Vinh or Cua Lo Beach offer a more immersive route.
