Sunday Brunch at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok is not about having everything on the table. It is about restraint and intention, brought to life through the elemental language of Grill, Fire, Smoke. So when you arrive at ALATi, keep in mind Sunday Brunch: choosing with intention.
In a city where brunch is often defined by abundance, this semi-buffet experience offers something far rarer: restraint. The format gently shifts the focus from accumulation to discernment, inviting guests to slow down and select only what truly deserves a place on the plate. Quality sets the rhythm, while attentive service shapes the pace.

At the heart of the brunch are the ‘Hot Off the Grill’ selections at ALATi. The Thai River Prawns, generously sized and expertly grilled, arrived glistening beneath a light veil of Café de Paris butter. Its flesh was firm yet tender, naturally sweet, and balanced by the richness of the butter and a gentle warmth from the accompanying Thai seafood sauce. Each bite delivers layered umami and ocean freshness – indulgent, yet composed.
Equally assured was the grilled lamb, cooked precisely to a perfect medium. A delicate char sealed in its juices, while the centre remained blush-pink and yielding. The flavour was deep but clean, finished with a subtle smokiness that lingered softly. It is comfort refined – confident, balanced, and quietly satisfying.

Complementing the à la carte highlights, the semi-buffet unfolds into a series of thoughtfully curated stations. A refined seafood on ice display presents chilled shellfish with classic accompaniments, emphasising freshness without spectacle. A Japanese corner offers a rotating selection of sushi and sashimi, served chilled and simply seasoned to highlight purity and precision. A curated cheese and cold cut selection, presented with traditional pairings, encourages pause and conversation rather than excess.
Signature Ending
Ultimately, true luxury may not lie in having everything within reach, but in knowing what to choose – and what can be left behind. When choices are made with intention, food, conversation, and time begin to move in the same rhythm.

And sometimes, what lingers after the meal is a quiet clarity that needs no explanation.
