From today until 2nd June, diners can savour a duo of special culinary promotions at the Grande Seafood Weekend Dinner Buffet featuring succulent steamed mud crab and handcrafted sweet treats from the hotel’s highly skilled new pastry chef, Jaturaporn Wannasirilux.

Staged every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening at Orchid Café, the elegant all-day dining destination overlooking Sukhumvit Road, the Grande Seafood Weekend Dinner Buffet showcases an amazing array of premium produce and delicious dishes from around the world. Focusing on the finest and freshest Thai seafood, this popular culinary occasion is ideal for couples, families and friends alike.

 

Discerning diners can discover a series of exclusive dishes, including steamed mud crab with three kinds of sauce: green chilli and lime, Sriracha and garlic butter sauce. With its succulent texture and wonderfully sweet flavour, mud crab is a true taste sensation.

Alongside these limited-edition promotions, the Grande Seafood Weekend Dinner Buffet will present its bountiful selection of seafood on ice, freshly-shucked oysters, a Japanese station featuring hand-cut sushi, sashimi and à la minute tempura, a choice of Thai salads, soup of the day, smoked salmon, cold cuts, Thai and international dishes, authentic Italian pasta and much more.

 

And of course, every meal can end on a sweet note. Chef Jaturaporn will be showcasing his incredible skills with a series of delectable desserts that highlight the tangy taste of mayongchid – a tropical fruit sometimes known as the ‘mango plum’ – including a mayongchid vanilla cake, mayongchid mousse trifle and mayongchid cheesecake. He will also craft assorted chocolate pralines and 10 flavours of homemade macarons (raspberry, yuzu, pistachio, almond, chocolate, blueberry, passionfruit, durian, green tea and Thai tea) which can be experienced as part of the buffet or purchased in a beautiful box to take home.

These delights will be available alongside the Grande Seafood Weekend Dinner Buffet’s popular Thai and international desserts, such as mango sticky rice, crème brûlée, cakes, tropical fruits and more.

 

The Grande Seafood Weekend Dinner Buffet is available at Orchid Café every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6pm – 10.30pm, priced at just Bt2,000 net per person for bookings made via LINE Shop (normal price Bt2,766 net). The steamed mud crab and Chef Jaturaporn’s sweet treats will be available until 2nd June, and a box of six macarons is priced at just Bt220 net.
