The St. Regis Bangkok is elevating the weekend dining experience with its Bon Appétit Epic Dinner Buffet, now featuring a selection of French culinary delights served every Friday and Saturday night at VIU Restaurant.


The dinner welcomes guests with a blend of classic French cuisine and innovative flavours, including Duck Terrine Baguette, enriched with a sweet Apricot Glaze and tangy Balsamic Grapes. The Camembert Spinach Quiche Lorraine and Confit de Canard paired with Truffled Potato Dauphinoise bring a touch of rustic French elegance to the table, accompanied by the tender, slow-cooked nine-hour Veal Cheek Bourguignon with Wild Mushrooms.

Other highlights include Scallop with Dijon Cognac Sauce and Salmon en Papillote, delicately cooked with a Tarragon Champagne Sauce for a light yet flavourful dish. Meat lovers will savour the French Mustard 48-Hour Braised Brisket, finished with Maître d’hôtel Butter, blending rich flavours with creamy textures.


No French dining experience is complete without indulging in desserts and the Sauvignon Blanc Wild Berries Ragout Mille-Feuille and Dark Cherries Crème Brûlée offer a perfect end to the meal, balancing the rich, savoury courses with their sweet, nuanced flavours.

Guests can also enjoy seafood on ice, presenting New Zealand mussels, Thai river prawns, a selection of fresh oysters: Fine de Claire; Fine de Normandie; and Irish oysters, shrimp cocktails, and a choice of sashimi. Each diner can also enjoy one whole Canadian lobster per person, served in a variety of preparations, such as Grilled Lobster Thermidor or Truffle Mushroom Risotto served with Grilled Lobster.


An additional a la carte menu features all-you-can-order snow fish with miso sauce, seared scallops with roasted vegetables, grilled beef striploin with red wine jus, and grilled lamb rack.

The buffet also presents an exceptional selection of cold cuts and cheeses, including fresh melon and Parma ham; and Jamón Ibérico with Manchego cheese from La Mancha in Spain. At the carving station, rotating weekly highlights include roasted salmon; Beef Wellington, and braised ham with honey. And, last but not least, desserts including a selection of ice creams, tiramisu, Thai desserts and more.


The Bon Appétit Epic Dinner Buffet is available every Friday and Saturday, from 6pm – 10pm and is priced at Bt2,500++ per person, including coffee and tea.
