Pagoda Chinese Restaurant, the award-winning Cantonese dining destination at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, invites diners to a deluxe seafood tasting event where they can sample the fresh flavour of Glacier 51 Toothfish, which is sourced straight from the ice-cold waters of the Antarctic, Australia.

 

Available throughout April and May, this exclusive promotion features a series of delectable dishes that showcase this highly prized fish. Also known as Patagonian Toothfish or Chilean sea bass, Glacier 51 Toothfish is famed for its snow-white flesh, flakey texture and clean, sweet flavour. Rich in fat and Omega-3, this is a wonderfully healthy option, and as it is usually found in volcanic crevices 2,000 metres below the surface, it is also highly sustainable and completely carbon-neutral.

Chef Oscar Pun and his talented team at Pagoda Chinese Restaurant will prepare this sublime seafood in seven distinct styles: steamed with aged Hong Kong soy sauce, Hunan fermented chilli, and salted black beans, wok-fried with Chef Oscar’s XO sauce, egg yolk & superior chicken sauce, or ginger, scallions & dried chilli, or boiled in a hot & sour soup with pickled cabbage and chilli.

 

The Glacier 51 Toothfish promotion is available for lunch (11.30am – 2.30pm) and dinner (6pm – 10pm) from 1st April – 31st May, and is priced at Bt690++ per 100 grams.
