In the culinary cultures of Italy and France, a Sunday Lunch is not merely a meal to fuel up for the day ahead: it’s a cherished moment, a golden hour filled to the brim with delicious flavours shared among families and friends. With that in mind, Côte by Mauro Colagreco, Capella Bangkok’s One-Michelin-starred restaurant, introduces Dimanche Midi – a new weekly lunch ritual where the sumptuous flavours of the French and Italian Riviera promise the perfect occasion to round off a weekend with loved ones.


Every Sunday, Côte’s light-flooded dining room, which looks out over the meandering Chao Phraya River and Capella Bangkok’s verdant Courtyard, becomes the backdrop for a decadent family feast. The Dimanche Midi at Côte by Mauro Colagreco spans a wide array of Italian and French delicacies, expertly elevated through the creativity and expertise of Chef Davide Garavaglia, Côte’s Italian-born head chef and the Michelin Guide’s Young Chef of the Year 2023. The weekly rotating menu captures the essence of heart-warming family meals, enriched by the chef’s innovative and forward-thinking approach. Expect the comfort of soul-soothing, elegant pasta dishes and farm-fresh salads, alongside reinterpreted grilled delights and a finale of creatively crafted desserts.

“We are delving into what food really means”, says Chef Garavaglia. “It is all about sharing joy and happiness over delicious meals with friends and family. My version of Sunday Lunch highlights the Italian favourites I enjoyed while growing up, but I have elevated them with fine ingredients, some of which are sourced from local and sustainable farms, and envelope-pushing cooking techniques I put in each dish at Côte.”

The five-course Dimanche Midi Sunday Lunch is available every Sunday at Côte by Mauro Colagreco from noon – 3pm and is priced at Bt4,100++ per adult (Bt2,050++ per child aged between 6 – 12 years old and complimentary for children below six years old). The meals can be paired with a special wine pairing arrangement or a selection of “lunch-perfect” beverages curated by Capella Bangkok’s Head Sommelier Sabino Iacobone.
