The Siam Tea Room, the elegant waterside Thai dining destination at Asiatique The Riverfront, is inviting guests to savour the sweet and succulent flavour of fresh jumbo river prawns – sourced directly from the Chao Phraya River.
Now available, this limited-time menu will feature a selection of delectable dishes that showcase this sublime ingredient. One of the most highly prized delicacies in Thai cuisine, these huge prawns are sourced directly from the River of Kings in Ayutthaya, just a short distance upstream from Bangkok.

Now, Chef Aunkool ‘Aony’ Poolpipat and her talented culinary team at The Siam Tea Room are proud to present five authentic Thai dishes using these locally and sustainably sourced Thai river prawns.
Diners can try grilled Ayutthaya river prawns served with chili-lime dipping and fish sauce (Bt2,360), fried river prawns with garlic, coriander root and pepper mixed with prawn fat and crispy fried Thai garlic (Bt2,360), or fried river prawns with tamarind sauce, pickled garlic, fried shallots and crispy chili (Bt2,360).
Guests can also choose from two exceptional Thai curries: charcoal grilled jumbo river prawns served with betel leaf crab curry noodles (Bt1,250), and Chu Chee river prawns – river prawns charcoal grilled with rich red curry, sprinkled with chili and kaffir lime leaves (Bt990).

The Chao Phraya river prawn promotion is available from noon – midnight at The Siam Tea Room at Asiatique, which is easily accessible by road and river, including shuttle boat services from the pier next to Saphan Taksin BTS Skytrain station.
