Vivacious Summer Menu

The renowned Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu at the Okura Prestige Bangkok has unveiled its vivacious summer menu to welcome the arrival of the new season. The new Summer Guestronomic Journey Set Menu is an indulgence in the essence of freshness and deliciously light flavours and is from 29th June 2022 onward.


With the arrival of summer, Chef Gerard Villaret Horcajo focuses on seasonal ingredients highlighting the hallmarks of the warm months. The journey is light and airy and full of scents and flavours inspired by the blooming summer flowers, fruits and vegetable. This is produce as nature intended, ingredients that are in their prime, vibrant in colour and bursting with fresh flavours.

The delight 8-course Summer Guestronomic Journey Set Menu features Hamachi with sweet peas, oyster and rhubarb; Smoked eel with kureson, crème fraiche and caviar; Norwegian Wild Cod with spinach, takenoko and cockles veloute; Fleur de Crouguette a la Barigoule with miso béchamel, Perigord truffle and gyojya niniko; and the signature Satsuma Wagyu A5 with pommes dauphine, shallot and umeboshi.


The scrumptious new set menu concludes with a tough dessert choice between fabulous Binchotan with Japanese whisky, citrus and milk chocolate; or wonderful Mono with verbena, buckwheat and smoke vanilla.

“In addition to our new summer 4-, 6-, and 8-course set menus, I have included signature dishes from our all-time favourite menus as a la carte options for guests to order as add-ons. I have observed that many of our repeat guests return to the restaurant because they’ve been craving one or more of our signature dishes. So, even though the season and menu has changed, you can always find your favourites here,” explained Chef Gerard adding. “As a chef, I am utterly committed to catering to the needs of our guests.”


The add-on a la carte signature dishes are Chutoro with oyster, hijiki, and dashi vinaigrette; Jean Larnaudie foie gras with toasted rice, genmaicha and musk melon; and Hokkaido Scallop with leek, furikake and sea grape. Each add-on a la carte dish is priced at Bt800++.

The concept of Summer Guestronomic Journey endures the Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu, interpretations of fine French cuisine laced with Japanese infuse.


The Summer Guestronomic Set Journey at Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu, is available from 6pm – 10.30pm with the. Mizu 8-course experience priced at Bt5,900++ per person; Chikyu 6-course experience at Bt4,600++ per person; and Ku-Ki 4-course experience at Bt3,800++ per person.
