Summer Of Culinary Treats

Summer Of Culinary Treats

The Okura Prestige Bangkok celebrates a summer of culinary treats starting with the Moon Festival, or Tsukimi in Japan, with scrumptious and exclusive Shiawase Moon-Cake. A traditional Japanese holiday, Tsukimi is an age-old festival honouring the autumn moon – the name itself literally translates to moon-viewing because it falls on the night of mid-autumn when it is customary for people across the country to go out and celebrate the moon in its full glory.

This exclusive Shiawase Moon-Cake or Celebration of Happiness features traditional signature flavours to satisfy the most ardent sweet-tooth, including golden custard; purple sweet potato and yolk; and the exotic Chanthaburi monthong.
