Grab your camera or phone and create captivating stories to impress your friends with a whirlwind tour of Thailand’s fabled Golden Triangle.
The new two-night accommodation package is designed to offer travellers a choice of six memorable settings and experiences. From walking with elephants in an ancient jungle to taking a selfie with three countries as the awe-inspiring backdrop.
Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort is perched on a hill overlooking the confluence of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar, with grazing elephants in the most stunning of natural settings below. The resort’s elephant camp, along with the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation (GTAEF), were set up in 2003 primarily to help street begging elephants and others that could not help themselves. To date over 60 elephants have been rescued from Thailand’s city streets and other aggravating circumstances, of which more than 20 now live in the jungle environment of the resort along with their entire mahout (carer) families.
Here guests can participate in unique elephant experiences, including the Walking With Giants signature experience that provides an optimum way of getting to know the elephants and develop a deeper emotional connection with them. Participants can also select two more experiences of discovery from an extensive list that includes: a lounging session in Anantara Golden Triangle’s world first transparent Jungle Bubbles; a Royal Enfield Classic 500 sidecar tour; a jungle tour in a Jeep; a sensual bath indulgence experience at Anantara Spa, or Anantara’s signature bath experience in the luxury and comfort of their guest room; and a delectable sunrise breakfast on the banks of the Ruak River with Myanmar just steps away, or a floating breakfast in one of the most idyllic pools in all of Asia with majestic three-country views.
Three more activities can be selected from the list of inspirational activities, including traditional temple alms giving; a hill trail walk to discover a phallic shrine with five phallus sculptures that was designed by renowned landscape architect, architect and interior designer, Bill Bensley; a Yoga session in an inspiring setting; a photography session with P’Tuck, the resort’s resident water buffalo; Khom Loy wishes into the vast, star-spangled night sky; a Muay Thai class with an expert instructor; and a mixology class or a traditional Thai afternoon tea experience.
This special offer starts from Bt14,000 per room per night for up to two guests sharing accommodation for a minimum two consecutive nights. The offer also includes accommodation and daily breakfast; six activities or excursions from the Instamazing Escapes offerings; and early check in and late checkout on the arrival and departure dates.
