Siam Tea Room at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is inviting diners to take their taste buds on a culinary journey of discovery to Southern Thailand this October and November, with its new “A Taste of Tropical South” seasonal menu.


The hotel’s talented Thai sous chef, Phukvarun Watchmon, has created a mouth-watering new menu that features some of the most delicious dishes from the Kingdom’s spectacular southern province, showcasing the fresh flavours of the tropical seas, including locally-caught produce.


A total of eight delectable dishes are available in the Southern Food Fiesta, including Crab roe chilli dip with boiled egg & organic Thai vegetables; Southern-style herbal rice salad with fresh tender leaves; Fluffy fish & fermented fish dressing; Stir-fried prawns with sato, chili, garlic & shrimp paste; and Songkhla-style braised pork belly in sweet soya sauce. Two sublime soups are also available and include Southern-style sour soup with fish organs & fresh vegetables; and Coconut paco soup with sea prawns, chilli & shallots.


Diners can end their Southern Thai feast in style with a divine dessert of Thai-style coconut pancakes.


A Taste of Tropical South menu can be enjoyed from 1st October to 30th November at Siam Tea Room from 9am – 8pm. This special menu selection is available for dine-in only with dishes starting from just Bt285++.
