Ventisi Italian restaurant at Centara Grand at CentralWorld has announced a new selection of exquisite Italian desserts, all handmade by resident Executive Chef Andrea Montella.

 

Hailing from Milan in northern Italy, Chef Montella has an uncompromising approach to quality and insists on using the finest possible Italian cooking ingredients to showcase the true authentic flavours of Italy.

 

Take time out of your day to order a selection of Italy’s most famous desserts to share with your friend, family, or loved ones. There are plenty of choices to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth, including:

 

  • Torta Caprese: Torta Capreses are one of the most famous Italian cakes. They are crunchy on the outside and moist in the middle. The cake is made without flour and is suitable for people with gluten-free diets.

 

  • Cannoli: Cannolis are one of the best-known and loved Italian desserts. They are made with homemade pastry dough shells and filled ricotta cheese and are available in four flavours: Ricotta, Chocolate, Pistachio, and Passion Fruit.

 

  • Tiramisu: An Italian dessert made with ladyfingers dipped in espresso coffee and whipped eggs, sugar, and mascarpone cheese and available in four flavours: Hazelnut, Classic, Pistachio, and Lemon (espresso free).
