In an extravagant grand opening, The Gems Mining Pool Villas Pattaya threw open its doors to begin a new era for the city by the sea. The impressive opening was presided over by the Mayor of Pattaya, Sontaya Khunpluem, with a who’s-who guest list in attendance.
The celebration started in the morning with a solemn religious ceremony, followed by a much louder and eye-catching marching drum display and a special performance of the King of Africa. The assembled guests were the treated to a delicious lunch while a live jazz band, DJ and mini concert by a popular Thai Lookthoong singer, Fon Thanasoonthorn, provided foot-tapping entertainment.
Meechai Inphitak, Founder and brainchild of the resort, said, “My family and I would like to humbly thank Sontaya Khunpleum, the Mayor of Pattaya, as well as all other guests who helped celebrate the resort’s grand opening. It was my intention to create The Gems Mining Pool Villas Pattaya to be another unique destination. I would like our guests to relax in a precious oasis and experience a new design and decoration concept which is inspired by African gems mining, the vibrant tribal culture and the greatest wonder of African safari.”
