Autumn Orange Afternoon

The pastry chefs at The Okura Prestige Bangkok are serving up sweet and savoury treats with the Autumn Orange Afternoon Tea at Up & Above Bar.

 

From October through December patrons can enjoy sweet delights that include Koyo themed macarons, potted yuzu crème, ‘Cabosse’ chocolate praline, Arabica almond cream roll, Chocolate and Orange almond cake, lemon and vanilla cake, chocolate & Kinkan tartlet, traditional scone with orange zest and vanilla scone served with artisanal clotted cream and preserves on the sweet side.

On the savoury side are toothsome bites such as roast ham and orange compote with gruyere on white toast, smoked salmon with Ciboulette & Ikura on brown bread, egg mimosa mini brioche bun, and mozarella confit with tomato and pesto on ciabatta.

 

These moreish offerings pair beautifully with a cup of rich illy coffee or freshly brewed premium Mariage Freres tea, which has lovely citrus notes.

 

The Autumn Orange Afternoon Tea is available daily from 1 October – 31 December 2019 from 2pm – 5pm. Priced from Bt1,290++ inclusive of illy coffee, premium Mariage Frères or Saro tea for 2 persons.
